In early 2020 I was approached to rebrand the famous Perth not-for-profit "Short Back & Sidewalks, with the task of injecting fresh life into the brand. As an organisation that offers free hair cuts to those in Perth that are less fortunate, I wanted to create a fun, vibrant and approachable brand for them, so that individuals who would otherwise feel too proud to seek their services, would be more inclined to try it. I also wished to build strong brand equity in the not-for-profit space for them, by creating a brand that wasn't too polished and a little rough around the edges.

One part of the brand that I really enjoyed was creating a series of characters that would lace the collateral of the brand, in particular, t-shirts that fans ad volunteers of the brand would proudly wear.

Another recommendation that I had for them was a newsletter that keeps their regular donors and followers up-to-date with their movements, this way they can maintain a steady donation cycle as well as championing some of their volunteers.
